- lives and works in Mater and Oudenaarde, Belgium

- 1977-1979 : Luca school of arts, Ghent, educated to be an art teacher

 

- From 1980 to 2020 : art and art history  teacher mostly at Middelbare Steinerschool Vlaanderen (Antwerp, Lier, From 1990 on in Ghent)
 

-  In 2009-2010 an intermezzo at Sint-Lucas kunsthumaniora, Ghent

 

 -  1982-1986 : education to be an art therapist at  Stichting Academie De Wervel, Driebergen, Holland, together with part time teaching

- 1995 : winner Weleda Förderpreis with exhibitions at Arlesheim-Basel (Switzerland) en Stuttgart (Germany)

- from 1998 on : more painting in my studio and participations in group shows

- September 2001 : first exposition at home and in the studio  and gallery in our house in Kruishoutem. From then every two years until  2010

 

- end 2004 : commission for town hall Kruishoutem (large painting “Hultheim”)

 

- september 2004 : third prize winner in the painting art prize “de Selectie” in Boechout, Belgium

 

- winter 2005 : participation at “Schilders in de schaduw” Mechelen, Belgium (selection Sam Dillemans)

 

- 2004 - 2010 every year participation “Binnenkijken te Brugge” art fair, Bruges Belgium

 

- 2006 : Castle Coloma, Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Belgium, “roses forever” exhibition

 

- may 2006 group show at Link Gallery, Ghent

 

- june 2006 : solo show at arboretum Kalmthout, Belgium

 

- from june 2006 on : work in De Egelantier, Otegem Belgium

- late 2010 : move to Mater (near Oudenaarde, Belgium), new studio

- november 2011 : solo show at Demedtshuis, Sint-Baafs-Vijve “nothing wrong with roses”

- fall 2015 : “closer” solo show at “a Perfect Corrida” gallery, Antwerp
